The Site Technical Engineer is responsible for to Support development plan to fundamentally improve Site manufacturing processes, systems, and capacities. Actively identify and analyze fundamental improvement opportunities to support site achievement of Key X's for quality, safety, and productivity. Leads execution of fundamental improvement initiatives and projects. Provide technical support to operating units when existing process is not capable of meeting standard requirements. Champion advancement initiatives in the areas of Safety, Zero Defect, Customer Focus and Operations Improvement through utilization of a continuous improvement culture. Leads Construction Coordinator and Engineering intern to provide support and achieve unit/plant metrics Ensures team resources are adequate to achieve plan. Ensures team members are qualified and meet expectations. Lead process teams in exploration, assessment, definition, and execution of fundamental improvement projects. Lead transfer of New Product introduction (NPI) projects into the Site. Provide project management expertise for fundamental improvement projects. Provide process engineering expertise for fundamental improvement projects. Oversight of capital associated with fundamental improvement projects. Ensure successful hand-off of completed projects to Operations, including acceptance of project deliverables. Provide high level technical troubleshooting for issues with existing processes. Complete PHA's, MOC's, SOP data sheet updates, PCAT action items, etc., as required Conformance to all safety, quality, customer, regulatory and statutory requirements. Within six (6) months of employment, complete various training for regulatory requirements and hazardous waste management procedures relevant to this position, and complete any required refresher training thereafter. This position may further include responding to emergencies, requiring familiarization with emergency procedures, emergency equipment, and emergency systems. years of experience in a manufacturing facility Six Sigma Certification preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical Engineering, Chemical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
